I bought this book after seeing Marilu Henner talking about her program on a
few talk shows. I never expected it to be as densely filled with information as
it is. Although implementing her entire program entails some radical steps, she
talks about ways to incorporate bite-size steps to begin moving toward a
healthier way of life. She emphasizes balanced foods (ying and yang), no dairy,
chemicals, or sugar, and food combining. It all sounds a little "out there" but
I decided to try it anyway, and I feel great. I've lost a little weight, and I
haven't had my usual stomach aches after eating. I highly recommend this book.
Even if you don't follow all the steps, it's full of valuable info that you
don't find everywhere. Not only is the book informational, it's inspiring,
motivational, and funny. Marilu Henner has really educated herself, and she'll
educate you, too. |
