but there are none in my area. also, the price seems a bit too expensive for me.

I have been using this weight loss center off and on for the past 3 years. Combined I have lost a total of 50 lbs. I am much more active and I eat the right foods. I haven't tried many other places but this is the best one I have tried.

    Expensive

The cost is very high and you also may need to pay for supplements and other diet products.

    I lost 35 pounds

Thanks to this diet plan and center I managed to lose over 30 pounds in a couple months. However due to extremely high fees I dropped out of it and managed to gain the weight back.

About 11 years ago, I joined Physician's Weight Loss Center and lost over
60 pounds in just under 5 months. Of course, as is usual with such
places, I spent God-only-knows how much money and they just wanted more
and more and more. It got to be too much, so I had to stop. And gained
every pound back plus 60 more. I'm trying my damnedest to stay away from
"organizational" diets (Physician's Weight Loss, Weight Watchers, etc.)
and from "fad" diets or "gimmick" diets or anything that requires me to
take drugs. Dr. Sears' plan uses food AS a drug, doesn't deprive you of
calories or fat or good tasting food (I told you it sounds wonderful),
doesn't rely on making each person conform to exactly the same diet in
order to work, and doesn't require you to exercise beyond your means.
It's supposed to be tailorable to your own likes and dislikes, your
caloric intake is based on your weight, body type, gender, body fat
percentage and activity level (unlike Physician's Weight Loss where you
get 700 calories per day and you get OVER it).

    Physicians Weight Loss center...
Reviewer: Kim       04-26-2004
I have been going to the Physicians Weight Loss center in Columbus OH for
about 8 weeks now. Besides the fact that their program is expensive and
they DO TRY to push their nutritional supplements on you, I really don't
have any complaints. They don't require any of thier supplements for
their diets, but they do constantly remind you that they are available.
LOL . I can go see their counselors anytime I wish...and this sometimes
ends up being every day! It's nice to know I can just drop in anytime I
feel like I need someone to talk to.

I am seeing their doctor every 2 weeks (in order to get REDUX
prescription). Even though there have been 3 different doctors since I
started, they seem to be thorough and really care about what is happening
with the patients.

So far, I have lost 49 lbs, 27 at Physicians and 22 at WW prior to
starting the medication. I have a long way to go and expect I will stay
with Physicians throughout the ordeal...as I am self employed and have no
medical insurance. Can't get insurance because of my weight!!

If you have insurance and can get your visits and meds covered I suggest
looking very hard for a Doctor!! Otherwise, Physicians will get the job
done. Good luck!!!
