After trying many diets that not only failed me but were also very expensive, i have now found a diet that works and the cost is nothing. Almost two months ago my husband and I decided to try a low fat diet plan and so far I have lost 20 pounds and my husband has lost 16.

Common sense should tell anyone that this is a diet plan that works. If you only consume 1500 calories per day with healthy foods such as salads, chicken (not fried), fruits and veggies, etc then you will lose weight. Just mix in about an hour of exercise per day and stay away from junk food such as cookies, chips, and ice cream.

The best advantage is that this diet is easy to digest and good for your heart. My doctor recommended this diet for me a year ago and I have never felt healthier in my life. I get to still eat good foods only now I am eating smarter.

you can eat smart and still enjoy what you eat. Just cut out the fatty stuff...here is what I eat on an average day. Breakfast OJ or low fat milk with a cereal bar or toast. Sometimes coffee. Then lunch is a sandwich with lean meat on a wheat bread with yogurt or cottage cheese on the side. For dinner, chicken or tuna with all the veggies and fruit I can eat. I prefer celery low fat peanut butter or orange slices.

This may be the only true diet that works. No need to buy a book or suppliments. You don't need to refill on pills every 2 months. Just eat low fat food, drink plenty of water and do some walking in the evening after supper. I have been doing this for over 20 years and have somehow managed to stay slim.

I just want to share my experience with low fats. I am a typical american. I am 35 yrs old. 6'0 tall and weight 280. I know i am still overweight but I did way 295 3 months ago. I am a cheapskate so this diet sorks for me.

People have been using low fat diets to lose weight for many years. Not only my parents but my grand parents as well. Eating fruits, veggies, wheat bread and low fat snacks...you can't go wrong. I basically eat whatever I want as long as its not fried or junk food.
