A wave of Herbalife selling went thru here a couple of years ago. It seemed
to be a typical MLM scam. One "distributor" is rumored to have a basement
full of products yet. |

Here's some info I found on Herbalife. Not the kind of people or company I'd
want to get involved with myself. Also, I've heard recently that sales of
products containing Ma Huang have been banned in Florida and Texas.

I tried the current crop of weight-loss products to no avail.
Then I went on OptiFast and lost (to date) about 70 pounds. The people at
Physicians Weight Loss in North Hollywood--including Dr. Maxwell, who
created the Medi-Fast program to deal with morbid obesity in the UCLA
population--tend to look donw on OptiFast as valueless.
Having been about as negative as I could be, there's a physician
I know at Kaiser Permanente who has heard only good about Herbalife, and
is thinking of getting his *mother* on their stuff. |

This is just another one of those 'get 2 people to buy from you' then they get people under them etc etc etc...its one of those pyramid scams. Weight Loss diet just kind got mixed into it to make it easier to sell (since most people could lose weight) along with making money. Unless you are great at scamming people and really don't care about losing any weight, then go ahead and join this diet plan. |
 What is Herbal Life?

I don't have personal experience with Herbal Life. But they are a
reputable MLM company that has created many wealthy people. They sell
mainly nutritional supplements and such. They supposedly have a great
weight loss formula that does miracles. If you think that you can sell
that kind of stuff to your friends and associates then you should go
for it. But try the products first, most reputable MLM companies have
a full 30-day money back guarantee. The first thing that you should be
asking yourself when you look into a MLM is if they have a good
product. Then look into their compensation plan and figure out what
kind of organization and monthly sales it will require to achieve your
goals.
Disclaimer: I have no ties with Herbal Life. I just want to see
people succeed in MLM.
