I came close to trying it. But i decided not to becuase of a friend that tried it and told me that it didn't work. The food options aren't very good if you are not a big veggie type of person.

I did read somewhere that people who eat soup before their meal tend to
eat about 25% fewer calories overall. Probably because the soup fills
you up with hot, low calorie liquids.

Try miso soup with a little bit of wakame and tofu. It is
especially good on cold mornings.

Although i didn't care to much for the meals i do have to say that it did work. Its just not a diet i can stay on forever.

I did try a similiar soup diet back in the 80's when i was alot younger. I can't remember what the previous diet was but it didn't work for me.

I myself have tried this diet several times, each time loosing
on average 11 pounds per week. (Dr.. Rice. claims that as
much as 14 pounds can be lost in one week!) It is truly
unbelievable! You can repeat
this diet as often as you like. So far I have alternated with
one week
on the diet and one week off and so on! I am so happy to
have stumbled onto this wonderfully easy diet!!!

The soup is a nutritious filler eaten every day, and, each day
you can also eat a different variety of food, for instance,
on the first day of the diet, eat as much cabbage soup as you like as
well as all the fruit you can handle (except bananas). On the fifth
day of this week long diet, eat as much of the cabbage soup as you
want and you can eat up to 16 oz. of lean red meat and as many tomato
products as you like.

whoever thought of this is a genius. you get to lose weight and eat good healthy food at the same time. Please try this diet. I did and it works for me.
