aromatherapy? Reviewer: Brett 06-20-2004 I'm only just getting into aromatherapy, and I'm finding it very effective,
but you might try supplements and whole herbs, as well as altering your
diet. I personally take supplements: multi vitamin, vitamin c with
bioflavanoids, calcium citrate w/magnesium. You might also consider raw
garlic in small amounts, and fresh squeezed raw lemon juice in distilled
water, sip this throughout the day. The raw lemon has helped me much in
fighting off colds and things, it is very anti viral/bacterial. My immunity
is really down, and the lemon is very helpful when I feel something coming
on.
Eat lots of fresh raw organic fruits and vegetables, reduce the amount
of meat in your diet, check yourself for food allergies. Juicing raw fruits
and vegetables is also helpful. I would refer to a good herbal healing
book, 'Prescription For Nutritional Healing', by James and Phyllis Balch is
good, also 'Today's Herbal Health', by Louise Tenney. Eliminating refined
flour and sugars from the diet is really important as well, use only whole
grains and unrefined sweeteners. Diet is so important. You might try using
Noni juice, very effective for boosting immuntiy. Wild Oregano is very
effective against many viral and bacterial infections also.
Something else to consider, when I started out with aromatherapy, I
used cheaper oils, and didn't have very good results. It wasn't until I
began using higher quality oils that I really started to have incredible
results. I'm not sure what brands you are using, but do be sure you are
purchasing oils from reputable suppliers, I feel that the quality of the
oils you are using has everything to do with how well they work. |

At first it was tough as I didn't really want to use the inhaler when it came to my favorite foods because I thought I would be missing out if I didn't eat more. It could have been either the inhaler or the fact that I wasn't getting my proper nutrients. I wasn't sure but it didn't matter to me as I quit the diet and moved on. |
